2028 Texas Longhorns Football Schedule
Texas has three dates locked in for the 2028 football season, with the SEC still to assign dates to the conference games. The Longhorns open at home against Louisiana Tech, travel to Notre Dame in September, and host UTSA the following week.
Austin will also host Arkansas, LSU, Missouri and Tennessee. The Red River Showdown against Oklahoma returns to the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, and road games include Florida, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.
Note that with the rapid pace of conference realignment, any future schedules are subject to change.
